Question: So you do not think that once God had created heaven and earth, He no longer concerned Himself with it?
I also believe that He does this not from afar or with only a general providence (Hebrews 1; Psalm 104; Colossians 1) but close at hand and with a special concern that extends to even the smallest of sparrows and the least of the hairs of our heads (Jeremiah 10; Proverbs 20; Deuteronomy 28; Acts 14:17; Matthew 10:29,30; Luke 12:7).
17 and yet He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good and gave you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness.” Acts 14:17
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.
30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Matthew 10:29,30
7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows. Luke 12:7
